Our music is an homage to the Northwest, Portland, OR, musicians in and from the community, and family and friends who have helped shape our movement through life. A good song is one of the most powerfully energizing experiences, and our debut album, Songs from 32nd, is one of those experiences. This record brings music alive in a way that is tantalizing, foot thumping, and embraces the pure joy of musicians coming together to bring stories to life.

Acoustic Lineup

Christopher McKinney

Guitar/ Banjo/ Principal Songwriter

Chris McKinney believes The Rolling Stones remains the greatest country band ever and has remained true to that belief even with bands earlier in his career, The Ramblin Jaks and Factory Girl.

Jack Green

Guitar/ Lead Vocals/ Songwriter

Jack found his voice at a young age. He picked up his first cherry red Yamaha electric guitar in the ninth grade and never looked back. Raised on a healthy diet of classic rock and roll from AC DC to the Beatles he eventually found himself entangled in the country roots of the early Grateful Dead, giving his playing a distinctly West Coast vibe. Fronting many bands over the years, through college, law school and beyond, Jack has found his happy place singing and playing alongside his writing partner.

Geoffrey Cecil

Vocals/ Trombone/ Percussion

Geoffrey has been a musical co-conspirator with Jack since high school. What started as top-of-the-lungs harmonizing to 'Dancing Days' in the smoke-filled cabin of a dangerously fast German sedan has continued down many roads with projects that have veered from hippie jam bands to psych-pop to indie rock and now, Americana. In addition to locking in midget’s-fist vocal harmonies, he also plays the trombone—no, after nearly four decades he still plays the trombone—that’s several lifetimes in horn time. Since the late nineties he has fielded unlikely calls to contribute textural horn lines, synthesizer smears, lyrics and harmonies for many Portland-area bands, from psychedelic stalwarts to pop-folk upstarts to greasy blues bands and beyond. His musical mantra? Vibe over virtuosity.

Heartfelt gratitude to these incredible musicians that helped make our first album come together.
